Assignment of Judgment

It is only the Legal Owner of a Court Judgment, or their Attorney, that has legal authority to do what is needed in order to recover some or all of a Legal Judgment.  Lawyers are great and necessary to WIN lawsuits, but are usually very costly (and mostly unskilled) in Judgment Recovery work.   Regardless of the results an Attorney produces, you will be billed for their services.   Only a tiny fraction of Judgment owners have the knowledge, skill or experience to do this for themselves.  The Judgment Recovery industry is based on the need for skilled and experienced Judgment Recovery professionals to do the work that Judgment Owners cannot do for themselves.

In order for a Judment Recovery professional to have the legal authority to work to recover a Judgment he must have legal OWNERSHIP of the Judgment.  This is accomplished by the Judgment Owner completing and notarizing an "Assignment of Judgment" form.  It is a contract in which the Judgment Owner agrees to pay the Judgment Recovery specialist a negotiable percentage of the funds recovered as well as the up front expenses laid out by the Judgment Recovery pro.  Please note that the Recovery Pro will NOT recover any of the money her or she paid out to cover the up front, out-of-pocket money UNLESS some or all of the Judgment funds have been successfully collected.  If nothing is collected the entire process will not cost you a dime, but the Judgment pro will sustain a loss of his or her investment of the out-of-pocket expenses.

Remember, please, that the terms of the "Assignment of Judgment" are NEGOTIABLE.  Not all Judgment Recovery pros work for the same fee or for a standard fee of any kind.  It all depends on the individual Recovery Pro.

After the Judgment Ownership is transferred, the "Acknowledgement of Assignment" is filed with the court. This is what gives the Judgment Recovery Pro the authority to enforce the judgment without using an attorney.  The Pro can locate and seize various assets by any or all legal methods.

But it all starts with the "Assignment of Judgment."  As you know this is the document that gives the Judgment Recovery Enforcer the authority needed to begin his special, and lawful, collection methods.
